Miranda had more than 10 million followers on TikTok, where he was popular for posting comedy videos and re-sharing viral clips.

At our last session in our self-help group we discussed comparing us with successful people too often. Like a peer group in college that seeimgly makes more progress.

I told them from my experience with talking with strangers on the internet or by my own expierience. There are successful people who are doing very well on the surface but not seldomly exactly these people feel the most shallow and empty. Especiallly, if they have noone to talk to. And they have to keep the act up not telling anyone how they actually feel.

I was a pretty good student at college. Got a lot of comppliments and sort of admiration. But it felt so shallow, empty, fraudulent and not deserved. In the long run if I stayed in college I would have killed myself. I will never get that degree. I would not survive more of this torture.

Success can be good. Personally, I might kill myself over money issues. But being a public person with all these expectation, the judging, leakings of your private life. I wish I had the money you get from success- But I certainly don't want to be a public figure. As a teenager I wanted to become politician. Bro I am way way too neurotic for that. I could not handle all the bullshit. Maybe with drugs. But I guess many artists show how this likely ends...
