*Ignore my collection of plushies 🤦

So I'm planning on hanging from this wooden beam, just wanted to know people's thoughts on it- if it'll hold, etc.

I'm also not sure if its to close to the ground. Like I would have to make sure the neck tie was right next to the horizontal beam. Thoughts???

Would the rope be catching around where the shelf bracket meets the column? If so, not sure that would hold that kind of weight (not saying you're overweight or anything. Just don't think it's made for forces that a hanging person would put on it). I assume you're contemplating partial hanging. I don't see any way someone could do full with that setup.

That's okay 😊 They're in my closet because I have no room, in my room to show them off or have them out, sadly.

Yes, I'd most likely tie the rest of the rope to my door handle which is only 5/6 feet away from the beam. Im contemplating some type of strangulation; hanging, partial hanging or even the night night method ( I think that's what it's called)

What about SN. weren't u going to use it, the partial is unreliable. I think it is better to do a test to see if it will hold up or not, but be careful

No I was never going to use SN, there is no way I could ever get my hands on it so it's completely out of the question. I definitely like the idea of testing it. May I ask why you think partial is unreliable?
