Theoretically, how would I get my hand amputated/cut off?

Title, I know everything there is to know about the downsides and a lot of things, I'm saving it for a backup plan and to stall for more time and a visit to "that place"

i don't understand. Are you trying to get on disability? Because you don't need to do that if that's why. Is it because of wanting attention?
This seems like a horrible idea. Do you have Munchausen's syndrome? Why do that?
I don't mean to be disrespectful, I just have no understanding of what you are saying.
if you want to get hospitalized for a long time, there are other ways of doing that
Nothing like that, my hand is already damaged and full of scars, I have nerve damage, can't move it in many ways, it hurts even with little pressure in some places, even now that the weather is getting colder, the pain is unbearable, why not just get it cut off if my SN attempt fails and get some help, idk about prosthetics and how impossible they are to get, but I don't know tbh

Just be forewarned that having a limb amputated doesn't always make the pain go away. Phantom pain is real and NOTHING legal even touches it. I knew a guy (he ctb'd) who suffered for YEARS after losing his leg in an accident. He would SWEAR he could still feel his foot/lower leg dangling off his leg and BEG people to "pick it up" for him. Bless his heart. He finally just couldn't take it anymore.

you can try to schedule an appointment with a general doctor and then ask them what sort of specialist you would need to see. there are probably websites with information on this also
