Quite a lovely song, I played it to my mum not long before she died, she said she really liked it:

To keep in the theme of suicide, what song would you play whilst dying.

The album, I Refuse to be Lonely, by Phyllis Hyman.

I have been a fan of Phyllis Hyman since I was a teenager. When she committed suicide in 1995, I was shattered. The album was released shortly after her death. The album provides several clues to her fans that she was not going to be around much longer. Every song on the album (especially the title song) speaks to an event in my life. Though she tries to mask the pathos with uplifting lyrics (This Too Shall Pass Away), the listener can feel that she does not really believe it. Very powerful and haunting album.
