It was a random day in maybe February or March (2022), and I decided it was time to try CTB.
The past few days were mostly spent on browsing the web, reading about CTB (mainly on SaSu), browsing news sites, and even a flat earth site probably, rather than doing class work involving random documents.
When my laptop ran out of charge, I'd tend to nap away... all while mostly knowing how time is being lost. One day, after arriving home, likely close to a due date of an assignment, I decided it is time to try NN. Since I didn't memorise the steps well, I decided to skip steps and only tie the sock around me, raising tension and securing it a bit with a knotlike fold.
I was told to go wash as usual, I said OK (while the black sock was around me). It was a bit tight, but it was tricky to get any tighter (that itself was probably a red flag). And a few mins later, after experiencing no effects but a mildy sore neck, I untied the sock and was a bit disappointed. But I knew that skipping steps wasn't good, so didn't blame myself, and went for a wash.
Eventually, I got assistance with the assignments, and I think I felt better. (as well as life was somehow more than assignments, it included beach walks, relaxing, etc)
After passing Year 12, my school's 100% completion rate remained, without me having to CTB to avoid breaking the completion rate. (note: the school didn't put too much pressure on students)
Another fear, that 'life will only get worse (in subtle, slow, but uncomfortable ways)' seemed to be busted too, as after completing high school, I got not only time off, but enrolled into University (which had ups and downs, including some moderate times with death wish recurrence... tho it has since eased and morphed away)
Note: I doubt I'd board the one way bus again.
