Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

A lobotomy is a form of psychyosurgery, a neurosurgial threatment of a mental disorder.

I have read from many different members the wish that they would have preferred to live in the past. Their reasoning was due to the fact that barbiturates were easily available it would have been easier to exit this world.

I always don't agree on that. At least this is my opinion about it concerning my own life. Without the knowledge of the internet I would not have known which medication was lethal. And mentally ill people were treated horribly in the past. Psychiatry was way way worse than the current state.

Treatments like a lobotomy strengthen my opinion on that. With my illnesses a lobotomy would not have been unlikely. The experiences were often horrible. It sounds nightmarish scary and I am very glad that this is not a treatment method in my country anymore. It sounds like some people have become living vegetables due to the lobotomy.

There were so many torturous "treatments" in the past. Like exorcisms or some women were burned because other people pretended they were witches. If I had to choose between my life in 2022 and the past I would always prefer to live in present time. Another reason is that new technologies really help me to deal with my problems. A life without the internet is unimaginable for me. It helps me a lot to cope.

I am not an expert on the topic of lobotomy. Seldom it seemingly helped the patient. But the risks were enormous. Maybe you know more on it than me. If you have something insightful to say about it I would be happy to learn about it.

Lobotomy was a horrible thing. Many people ended up even worse and with mental impairment afterwards.

It also seems so scary and disturbing.
