I started to shed a tear a little today at the thought of non-existence. It was a bittersweet feeling. Imagine just not having to care or think about anything ever again? It wouldn't even feel like bliss, it would feel like nothing. Then I was thinking of some calming music and the beautiful sounds of nature. I love the idea of both. Can't I have my cake and eat it too lol. Maybe the afterlife is like that. Wonderful moments of tranquillity and radiant beauty interspersed with moments of nothingness. Anyway, I'll go back to dreaming again. Peace ✌️

Just imagine the beauty of the billions of years that we weren't here before our birth. It was sooooo amazing 💙

I do not believe that there is any afterlife, I really do not hope that there is anything after death. It does comfort me, the thought of nothingness. In comparison to death, life seems so temporary and meaningless. Even know we suffer so much now at least it will end one day. Our lives do not matter at all. I just wish that life was not a thing in the first place as to me, existence is so unnecessary.

I'm pretty confident this won't be the case after death, but it is appealing just can't see it personally. Not super spiritual or anything, just feeling I have.

We've always been here, and we will never leave. Something doesn't come from nothing. But I guess dying makes your presence take on a very different shape.

Lol yeah humans have always been here. Well not always because we didn't exist on earth at one point. But you and me as individuals have not always been here. We were nonexistent for billions of years before our birth and knew nothing of life. We shall return to the same after we die. The something doesn't come from nothing argument really reminds me of a god of the gaps type of thing. Even if this all came from something that has nothing to do with us as humans.
