This is more like a confession. Here are some of the reasons I hate myself.
  • Repeatedly cheated on my wife
  • Lost my job due to my drinking
  • Beat someone unconscious because of an insult. I kept hitting him after he was out. Then I ran and don't know how badly I hurt him.
  • Kept $40,000 (part of inheritance) that I should have shared with my brother
  • Spent the money on drinking and strippers
  • I drink every day starting at 8 am. More than a pint each day for the past 4 years
  • Countless stupid actions done while drunk or on something else.
  • I have one more terrible thing I can never tell anyone. I will carry that with me when I ctb

Yeah 3 of those are pretty bad! I'm guessing that last one is a bad one too :-s well, I forgive you, but I'm not your brother! For your own sake, your drinking sounds like it causes you a lot of problems, it would be in your best interest to quit, I doubt it makes you feel good

I'm a failed member of AA. Drinking makes everything worse. Yes the last one I can't share. But not murder or anything.

If you took 100 people in AA right now and then checked in with them in a year only 5 of them would still be in the program.

I hope you can find peace somehow. If you regret these actions and are able to make up at least some for any of them it may be worth doing. EVen if not directly some small random acts of kindness for anyone may help some. I hope you can find relief from this pain somehow.

Dude your not alone I might have done a few things when I was younger that were not things I'd want to admit to publicly.

Would you give AA another go?
I have been back to AA meetings but I still can't seem to get sober. I can't continue this way. I'm thinking SN will be my last drink.

Drinking amplifies my psychotic/manic symptoms so I pretty much don't consume liquor anymore. Every once and a while I will have a few beers just to compliment the cigarettes I smoke, but I get nothing out of it. If I drank as much as you, I would have completely broken my goddamn brain and ended locked up somewhere. I'm sorry you have so many regrets. I hope you are able to make peace with these things. Wishing you the best.

I forgive you boss.
Confession is one of the first steps towards repentance.
Have you considered trying Iboga?

I've been drinking at an ever increasing rate over the last five years and it wasn't until 3 weeks ago that I realized alcohol was the reason for all the shitty things I've done to destroy my life in the last few months.

I made a pact with the universe that if I stopped drinking, it would stop working against me. I couldn't hold up my end of the bargain.

If I don't drink then my brain is like a dog who gets the zoomies. It won't stop. It won't slow down.

An inebriated brain is so much more desirable to me than one that's sober.
