Help Taking SN without testing it

I bought SN from a well-known chemical shop in my country. SN came in a sealed package that I didn't open. I couldn't find in my country any shop that sell Nitrite test strips and I can't afford to buy it online. If I take SN without testing it, what are the risks?

I'm not sure. I know very little about SN and thought maybe it's possible to alter its composition for wholesale, like with dilute acids in school chemistry classes.

The risk of it being fake is practically non existant unless you bought it from some scammer or pro life person on here.

I have the same question. So as long as it was purchased form a well known chemical shop, it is very unlikely it won't work, therefor it's not necessary to test.

it's cheap as hell. there's no point in adulteration of SN.

In my country is possible to find with a simple search on Google the page of a supposedly legit distributor of chemical products, and SN is there for everyone to buy, and yes, cheap has hell. Can that site be trusted? Who knows, but I've never considered the SN method before (because of the pain in the ass of finding a reliable source, the high prices and the chance of the product being retain in the border), and it's tempting.

you could try getting a small amount of your blood and mix it with some of the SN, if the blood turns brown in just a few seconds then its probably lethal enough

I would not take ANY chemical substances without testing them, it could result with death but it could be painful if chemical is contaminated

I second about the blood test - it's no guarantee but it might buy you some peace of mind. I couldn't imagine not testing it, but I think all (or at least most) of the people I've known here to CTB haven't tested, from multiple sources. Best of luck to you.
