Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Can suicide be rational?

This is quite a thought-provoking and moving piece if, like me, you're planning on leaving but don't consider yourself to be mentally ill.

ahhh i remember watching this a year ago and bawling my eyes out. Or his other video about abuse was the thing that made me realise I was actually recovering from abuse. It was actually kinda funny bc my therapist was trying to like get me to see for months how I had been in an abusive realtionship (financially, emotionally, sometimes sexually) for like 3 years. But it wasn't until I watched a philosophy tube video on it that it somehow clicked.

sorry that was a derail but thats what his videos always remind me of now!

Wow, I'm really glad it helped you.

I cried as well - another human being simply saying that they understand with such conviction - even though it's a stranger on a screen - it hits quite hard. I'm still processing it, I think.

hi, I would send a private message but am unable to your account. I like the video. I am wondering if you feel comfortable saying, what is the reason you are thinking of ctb?

Since you said that it is not always a mental illness which i believe, do you also mean tho that people might want to ctb when they are actually 'ok' and dont really have anything really wrong with their lives?
