Suffering from writing my paper

I am a student majoring natural science, but I need to learn a course which is totally arts and humanity. I'm really confused about writing a paper about that topic. I think the topic is too broad. Questions of this topic are too hard to answer. My thesis statement is thus broad and boring. My topic sentences are bullshit. The things I have written are actually things that don't deserve to write about. I feel like I'm now suffering from the pain of writing paper, just like constipation or dystocia.
Also, I need to prepare for the midterm exam about my basic courses related to my major. I cannot even finish both of them. I have already written an essay in another course today. Now I lose all the motivation to study...
