anyone else obsess over stupid pointless things??
i was reading a cooking thing one day (god this was probably over a year ago) and someone was like "what chefs do with the pan doesnt actually do anything, its just to make them look cool". then youre doing it wrong. when i feel lazy to save on a dish i do that. funny, it works. and i highly doubt chefs as good as Ramsay, feel the need to make something up to "look cool". this trick can even be proven by filling a pan half with red onions and half with white onions, if done right theyll be all mixed together. which granted takes a bit of confidence because theres this over riding fear of it all falling out of the pan, but just because you struggle with doing something doesnt automatically make it false.
obsessive thoughts have to be the stupidest thing ever. and im not even talking about obsessive thoughts that make sense because in some cases they do, but like the above example, its really really stupid.
