I don't know if it's mentioned in the videos, but Fry is one of us: he's bipolar, or at least cyclothymic, and has made a suicide attempt.

it is mentioned in the interview with craig ferguson. there is one more serious part where they talk about stuff like that.
and also craig ferguson who is a recovering alcoholic talked sometimes about his thoughts to kill himself when he was drinking in other parts of the show.

Didn't know that about Ferguson. Suicidal ideation and suicide attempts are probably much more common among celebrities than we think.
