Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I always kept going with my miserable life and existence due to my dogs. At this point I genuinely don't think it's a good reason anymore. I mean my goodness, some people are handed easy lives, others aren't. Those who aren't are almost setup to end it all like what's the point of all this.

I was thinking as far as my dogs, would I feel better doing this if I was able to fly them to my ex bf state. He loves dogs I fully trust him to care for them. That way I won't have fear and guilt that if I'm not around worrying about a stranger abusing them.

My dogs were never an excuse to not go through with it. My worrying over them plus my distrust in humans made me hold off. As much as I love them I don't think it's a good reason to keep suffering myself anymore.

There'll always be a tipping point for a pet keeper who is suicidal and planning to carry it out. I think as we can't absolutely guarantee their wellbeing, it'll just come down to having to put ourselves first (selfish or not).

One thing to keep in mind is pets are at humanity's mercy. If they were put out in nature they wouldn't survive. And they do have feelings even when they don't understand something. Especially then.

Someone online took her own life after a long battle with an illness and had two cats she loved so dearly. I think she maybe assumed her family would take care of them. It is not even two months since she passed and they are trying to re-home them. So they will spend the rest of their lives with and be at the mercy of someone else.

I think sticking around to care for our animals, especially dogs who bond uniquely to humans, is a noble, worthwhile endeavor. Being there for them at the end after a deep bond & life experiences have been shared is rewarding. Looking back those are some of the proudest moments of my life. Im glad i saw them through. Thats me…

Im sure your dogs appreciate you, your efforts, love, & love you back dearly. Your efforts are valuable! Youre also correct how theres a harsh reality to weighing pros & cons of each situation to continue suffering for others that is uniquely individual. Sending love, respect, compassion whatever you choose.
