Sodium Nitrite not Nitrate....

So I mixed up sodium nitrite and nitrate and bought 2 pounds of nitrate off of Amazon. Can I still use it as a suicide method? If yes, how much should I take?

If no.... Where can I buy nitrite in the US?

Do not even attempt, you would probably need to down the whole thing to do significant damage , who knows what kind of permanent damage it would do to you. DO NOT DO IT, do NOT think about it. It would be equivalent to normal salt at best, do not attempt anything with it.

I don't know where you can buy it in the US, there might be others who know that.

nah... wont work no matter what might as well throw it away... though there is an alternative to SN that appears to work that are on amazon.

they are talking KN I think, but there is less proof that one works. Id just use a better source if I were you

No. Curing salt is only a small percentage sodium nitrite. You need near 100% sodium nitrite. You're not going to find it available to "average joe" on Amazon. You need to be a business to buy pure sodium nitrite from there and most other "legitimate" places.
