  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I just thought I'd acknowledge how helpful this forum has been to me, a place where I can openly talk about my thoughts, struggles and plans. You have been a big part of why I am still here today.

I want to give a shout-out to all of you brave souls who do not fear death, and those who recognise that there are worse things in life than dying, and those who are still trying to give life a chance.

I think most of us here are ultimately given the gift of seeing death in a totally different light, from a different perspective. Now, everyone in the world is having to face the prospect of it, and their anxiety is at an all time high for they fear death - and yet for me it has been something that is in my mind (and perhaps in most of us here) for a while. I've lived with the prospect of it, and thought about it deeply, so in a sense I am at peace with death. It's a bit refreshing, at least for me.

Couldn't agree more. To me, it's obvious that there are things in life worse than death. Life itself is defined by the existence of stress, anxiety, pain, regret. In death is peace. I won't have to think about how my parents hate me after I'm dead. Definitely a day I look forward to.

Almost died in a car accident the other day. Wasn't afraid at all. Just... Annoyed. Annoyed that life was throwing more pain at me. Because I knew it would be too good to be true if I could just die, right then and there. Of course I get unlucky and am forced to deal with the pain of it instead. I was still kind of shocked at how unafraid I was. I'm more depressed than I realized.

Life is a prison, you've been in for so long you forget what it's like on the outside. But you desperately want to get out... I don't know what it's like on the other side. All I know is there's nothing for me on the inside.
