• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

...On a forum this compassionate, this accepting, that all of us end up making such close connections that in another few months it becomes a de facto pro-life site?

I could see our situation evolving to where we are all of us sitting here thinking, "Wait! I know it's your choice, but... You're my friend and I'm really going to miss you!"

My New Years thanks go out to so many of you for being such kind, compassionate souls. I hope with all my heart that you can find enough joy in life to choose to continue living, and if that joy eludes you, I hope you find a gentle passage to a more peaceful place.

TH

I think recovery may become a reality to a fair bit of people here (not everyone of course) but I would say that it will likely remain a pro-choice forum because there are always going to be new people who come to this forum as well as people's life changing events in 2019. I can't say whether or not I will go in 2019 as it all depends on my life circumstances as well as timing (to an extent). However, I know ultimately I won't see myself living to old age, dying in an assisted living facility while being at the mercy of hospice and healthcare workers trying to take care of me. Also, I'd rather go out on my own terms, than to wait for a doctor to greenlight me or the government to change the laws.

You know it's sad when one person all of a sudden stops commenting for awhile. Days become weeks, weeks become months....Just know that wherever they may be, that they found peace or in the process of.
