  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to easily find this here -

I know modern cars aren't as easy for people to ctb with carbon monoxide anymore, but I've gotten several warnings recently in local news about cars' exhaust pipes being blocked by snow and people inside suffocating from carbon monoxide poisoning. Is this a solid possible method? I live in an area where it's been snowing a lot lately and I wonder if I could get away with this with family thinking it was a freak accident. If not, whatever! Just thought I'd ask:)

Imo it's an unreliable method. Those are accidents and the people didn't die within minutes. CO kills slowly over many hours if the concentration isn't high.

It's better to consider charcoal.

This involves snow deep enough to prevent the exhaust from escaping the body. It builds up under the body and gets sucked into the fresh air intake. It takes longer these days but it will still get you.
I lost a coworker this way because they parked a big 1970's car in long grass with a gentle tail wind. They left it running with the air conditioning on. The next day they found dead people in a car.
