Hi guys, so I`ve been looking for SN on some russian marketplaces and found one "Sodium nitrite (food additive E250)". Is that the one I need?

No idea about the second one, but E250 is SN. There should be purity as well. You want 96% or higher.

It could be a ready-made mix with sodium chloride. Is that mentioned anywhere?
Ideally, it should be something like that:

Proper storage seems important or the SN can go bad. I had a container of 99%+ reagent grade SN with a malfunctioning cap that allowed the plastic bottle to give under pressure(Non-air tight seal) sitting undisturbed for 5 years. The SN degraded into Nitrate almost entirely (5-10% SN content) in...

On the website it says that percentage of nitrire is 98,5. As I understand the second one is for for cleaning pipes

upd: i found E250 with 99% of nitrite
