can you sleep when you are fasting so as not to feel the hunger during sn? I want to fast for 12 hours

I don't see why you couldn't sleep during a fast. Not eating will certainly make you sleepy as well, in my experience. From my past experiences with fasting it isn't bad short term so long as you can get away with not doing much (no hard labor). Just keep yourself distracted and you won't have much time to think about how you're hungry. And if being hungry makes sleep harder just keep trying to sleep or do mindless things to pass the time and it might pass eventually. Best of luck whatever you decide to do.
