I'm planning to ctb with SN and to do that in a hotel. What bothers me is the thought of who will find me. Would it be safe to call 911 myself at some point after taking SN so they can't save me anymore, but at the same time find my body?

This is a very bad idea for a variety of reasons.
As a general rule, everyone should plan for at least 3 hours of solitude. Death will probably come sooner, but it's always good to have a margin of error.

If you're worried about finding a body, you could put a dead body warning somewhere, or schedule a delayed message.

What I want to do is make a few signs (just a piece of paper with really big writing) then place them all by the door/on the floor, or in some way where the cleaning person would be able to see them when they first walk in the room. It'll let them know that I have completed suicide and to just back out of the room immediately and call the police, because I don't want them to be traumatized.

Calling the police would be 100% too risky, but the nice thing about hotels is that someone will definitely enter the room eventually, so there's no need to worry about not being found.

Do it in the bathroom of the hotel and close the door. Set nice comfortable bed up on floor or tub to lie down on after taking sn.

Then leave a note on the door for the cleaning person to not open the door and to call the police for a suicide inside.

Death can come even after about 40 minutes, so theoretically 2 hours is enough.
However, 3 hours is a safe margin of error, in case something unexpected happens.

But of course there are people here who called for help and they didn't succeed.
There can be different reasons.

This is a difficult question ;).
Everyone has to answer this question for themselves.
Suicide is generally a tragedy and an act of ultimate desperation.
CTB is hard on our psyche because we have to fight our natural instincts.

Unfortunately, I don't have the balls, because if I did I would have been dead for 2 years, but I'm still alive.
In my case, I wait until I hit a wall and CTB is the only sensible option. I just wait until I have no other choice.
