  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hi, just a little tip that might work for some people. Sometimes the brain can't work automatically to get in the mood and needs some stimulation. Fake smiling and pretending to be happy can trick it about happiness.

Yes! Definitely. Fake it till you make it. Also, making yourself laugh or cry can relieve stress as well if you are feeling anxious. Well, you might not have to try too hard to make yourself cry if you are me...

I think there is something in this, not only are people nicer to you when your smiling but the brain does seem to be happier when smiling even fake smiling, I think it's good to exercise those muscles round the mouth.

same note frowning for long periods puts the brain in a bad mood, so even when your alone try a few smiles and work those facial muscles.

This actually reminds me of a DBT exercise called "half-smile" where the point was exactly that, to trick the brain. I don't have any way to back up this claim, but I believe there is scientific evidence that smiling affects the brain positively, even if it's fake. Something about those muscles helps us regulate emotions.
