Discussion Slitting major blood vessels in the neck

Ever since I saw the Iryna Zarutska murder (A Ukrainian woman who was stabbed on a Charlotte, North Carolina light rail train in August 2025. She was attacked from behind by a man, receiving deep cuts to her neck and chest that severed major blood vessels. She bled out and died at the scene.) and how fast she collapsed I've been considering this a suicide option.
People usually aim for the arms, but that's discouraged because it's inefficient. I was wondering whether targeting the neck would be more reliable and faster, like it appears to be in that video.

you plan on doing this yourself? from what i remember (cuz i dont wanna rewatch the vid) he attacked her 3 times and i believe he did it very forcefully.

People usually go for the arms because the arteries are very close the surface and you don't have to dig an exhausting amount. For the neck and thighs it's much deeper and would take a great deal of effort to reach them to a fatal degree
