Help should i buy a tourniquet?

i've done many attempts with tourniquets before, using wires.
i didn't come close to unconsciousness, i just felt the pressure build in my head. it always slipped away from beneath my chin, no matter what. my neck's too fat i guess.

i'll keep this brief.
would something like this work?
or is it not much better than a homemade tourniquet?

what if i used two of them?
i am incredibly desperate.

This would be great but the loop on the 'stick' is too short to turn once you secure it otherwise it would be the solution for sure.
