Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I recently shipped a package of SN to a friend who lives in another country.

Anyone familiar with US customs and the chances of them opening the package and seizing it? SN is only allowed to be shipped via ground and I labeled the customs form as "two paperback books".

Now the package says it's delayed because it was "sorted incorrectly"—is this some kind of code word for customs problems?

It shipped yesterday to a different city but is still held up in my state.

Any info appreciated. Thank you.

Hi smilla welcome back, sn is completely legal in the US, and most everywhere really. I've never had any problem with us customs, the postal service is very quick and efficient, any package shipped "air mail" in the USA isn't actually delivered by airmail it's delivered by a 2 man truck team non-stop, within the US.

It's going to a foreign country so I imagine it's being shipped by air?

Thanks for the welcome back.

If it's Canada it will still be by truck, Europe and the like yes. I've never seen "sorted incorrectly" but I'm sure it happens.

Thanks. I'd prefer not to name this country but this helps.

Spain may have more strict customs. Hope you didn't spend too much.

If I'm not wrong, "sorted incorrectly" just refers to them having put it in the wrong area when it comes to shipping destination. It should be automatically straightened out by them since they're aware of their mistake.

Sources: Newman on Seinfeld and being the recipient of a million ebay packages.
