There are two small bottles of vodka hidden away in the guest room in my house. I confiscated them from my husband during his last relapse, but instead of throwing them away, I just hid them. I think I'm going to drink them tonight. I gave up alcohol for him four years ago. Since then, he's been in rehab twice, had a DWI, and had seven relapses (that I know of). I've been good.
This weekend has been shitty. I'd do anything to take my mind off it for a little while. I think those bottles are coming out once my husband goes to sleep.
