Help shelf life of sn

hi all, for some quick context i have dissociative identity disorder, this essentially means there are multiple ppl sharing my body, luckily(??) we're all wanting to get on the bus, just at different times - that timeline ranges from one year to five yrs. we're not sure who's going to "win" with the final decision

what's the shelf life of sn, or, more specifically, sn from dmc?

we want to buy it now so we have our ticket ready, and in case dmc goes dark, but are unsure if keeping it for up to five yrs is a good idea

if anyone has any knowledge on how long we can safely keep sn for before it 'goes bad' or is just no longer of good purity, that would be great

If unopened and kept in a dry and airtight condition I believe it can last for well over 5+ years, possibly even a decade without losing much effectiveness.

ooo this is very promising - i've seen others mention it spoils within a year or two at most so up to a decade is very exciting. would be interested to see if anyone else can comment to confirm this? if so i'll be buying tonight.

if kept under right conditions, it can last more than 3-5 years.

but people on avg say 3 years.

Yeah, it depends on the condition it's stored in. It does degrade when exposed to air so you'd certainly want to keep it unopened if at all possible prior to use and if opened it would likely keep for a good 3 years if promptly put into a proper container. But yeah, I'd say 3-5 years is correct, possibly longer if stored in the best condition possible (unopened and placed into a dry and cool environment without exposure to sunlight). If kept for over 5 years I wouldn't be sure of it's effectiveness though, I'm sure the full dosage would work up to a decade after but you'd need to ingest both glasses to be safe.

SN is actually very stable. I read about a test where it was boiled & stayed effective.
If you keep it in a dark cool area & sealed it should be good for years & you could always test it before using it.

What exactly would right conditions be? Like in the summer the house might get warm even though it will be in a dark closet or something.

This thread is interesting. It appears that when stored correctly, SN can last decades for lab purposes. It might not translate to SS purpouses though, I don't know.

Please explain airtight for my ADHD brain that confuses what this means sometimes… I must know as I don't wanna buy another bag and risk it all if I mess up with my bad stupid brain!! I'm in need with this one too!!
What about freezer and tight steel canister once opened once?!? And should I get the SN from the cooler!??

I shredded the shipping label and placed the sealed box in zip lock bag, delivery was fairly quick. With all thats currently happening in the US I'm glad I ordered when I did.

I still have a zip lock bag!! Should I do this immediately and leave in a cooler?

Im not sure about a cooler, the protocol here on SaSu says to keep in a dry place. The box itself seems very well sealed and discrete

Cooler is not recommended, because of moisture. Ziplock bags may not be perfectly airtight, as plastic is weird. I'm not sure which containers would be best to store in, I'd guess metal or glass? Anyone know?
