Help Saying goodbye to a fandom/community?

There's this fandom I've been in for a long time now, I met my ex-friend through it and it's filled with people I don't know... but still hold dear.

I wrote a letter for them, all of them. The gist of the letter is basically "I love you and everything about this fandom, even if you were a lurker".

But is this a good idea…? I mean if people guess this is because I'm CTB-ing it'll be horrible. I wrote in my letter the reason I'm posting this is because I'm going to travel and I won't be back, but that won't fool anybody especially during a pandemic.

Any help please?

Could you say you can't afford Internet anymore because you've had to cut back on your expenses?

You could say that you don't have the time that you had before to spend online on that community.
I guess something like "[...] a lot has changed in my life since I joined here [...]" should work.

Oh, just some niche video game. I don't know if I should say the name outright because that fandom is so small I'll probably get recognized, but if you've played a game called "The Stanley Parable" then you've definitely at least heard of it.
