Help Reliability of slitting wrists?

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked plenty of times before. I want to know how reliable slitting your wrists actually is. Is it easy to hit the veins you need to hit? It's not my go-to method right now, I just want more knowledge. Thank you so much.

The mortality rate is low and even if it were to succeed it would take a pretty long time to bleed out during which you would be in pain.
