A friend of mine is dating a Scottish girl, he says she is nice to him but she is really racist and not in a joking way, that she was a former Nazi but now she is Catholic. She says Indians are soulless animals who are worship demons. Personally I think she was into witchcraft earlier and after conversion to Catholicism and her experience the racist part of her found a refuge to express openly but under the guise of demonising pagans. He says that's because she is autistic and she is not racist from the place of hate but because she is autistic. But I have many autistic white women as friends, they are not like that, they are very kind & empathetic people and such words would turn than off even speak to such a person. I know my friends let's say Karla would can't handle a person like that, she is autistic her self, this girl would be too toxic for her mental health. Sometimes I wonder if she is not really autistic and use that just because she is awkward and feels like an outcast. She was saying most Scotland and Scottish people are too white and hate brown ppl. I seems to me he is holding onto hope that she would not teach his kids that, it's not just the views that one stops sharing but kids are emotionally cued into mother. Even if she is Catholic and obeys her husband and doesn't speak of it, processing a part of that with has so much trouble and Chaotic won't be easy, doesn't mean she would stop feeling how she feels. But I don't think she is racist because she is autistic. And I don't believe it comes from the place of autism I think it comes from the place of fear, disgust, prejudice and lack of self worth due to no internal locus of control.

What's the point? Focus on your life, not hers.

I'm not sure what kind of reply you expect, there is no questiom in your post.

Do you agree with her? Do you want to change her? Are you asking if racism is common in Scotland?

The main thing that struck me is how much you mention the word catholic. Being or claiming being catholic doesn't instantly make you a good or bad person. There are good and bad people in every country, race, religion. Some traits of course are more common in different groups for various reasons.

Are we here to focus on our lives ? Please don't respond if you have nothing of value to add
I agree with this too. It's not very kind to invalidate someone's opinion like that. It's one thing not to like it, or disagree with it. That's different. Myself, I believe this world would be a much better place if everyone stayed out of everyone elses business in personal matters. This is the place from where many conflicts come into being. Everyone is entitled to make their own mistakes. Sometimes you should let them.
