Question for those who have sn

Most pictures I've seen people posting of their sn has like a texture of like a wet looking "fluffy" powdery texture that like sticks to each other or whatever surface it touches and I've always assumed sn comes in that form. But when I got mine it was more of a dry granules that look like a bunch of tiny round beads where most of it has come together and hardened but the rest are loose beads that like roll off the surface you put it on. Google says sn comes in crystalline (sand-like) granule, rod or powder form but mine seems to be a bit different than the pictures of peoples SNs I've seen here. I've blood tested it and it looked fine but this minor detail has just been bugging me so If anyone whose sn isn't sealed or have seen it can weigh in I'd appreciate it. Picture for reference...

Afaik, DMC get his SN from a well known trusted company called "Basf"... It's one of the oldest, biggest and trusted/reputable chemical company along with Merk ( both are German).

Basf SN comes in 25 kg bags, DMC divides it into much smaller amounts. So ig you don't have to worry... Your SN is usable and very good

Yes! My trust is also on that and how many others have used it. I was just expecting that pillowy snow type texture like all the pictures and it left a doubt in me. Will be putting it to a test soon I guess :)

Yeah the grains look more round and aren't as clumped. I have seen SN from there before and it does look different to mine but a different manufacturing process could be why.

Yes, I think it's best to test it. Also, if you're not comfortable with it, you can buy a new one from the same source or another. Best of luck.

It's definitely best to test it but I don't have access to test strips only did blood test and I used my last bit of money on buying this one and even that was too complicated and such a hassle. I'm just going for it...Thank you for the wish, I do need it!

I see... Anyway, don't worry... Yours is industrial grade. Granular, in granular form for free flow, no clumping, and absorption of moisture or dust. Because it comes in large quantities, as I mentioned earlier, 25 kg. This granular shape has a reason...

I tried it with the same ratio, 10gm in 20ml water, it took some stirring to fully dissolve but that is similar to others experience as well.

I mean i have both kinds, granular and sand-like texture while the other is pillowy as described. Both took a bit to dissolve when I measured em out...and uh...tested one of them a certain way but anyway, it should be consistent. Even while she was still here, my friend had the sn that was granular but she attempted with it back in early Jan and it nearly worked had she not been found, she was worried that it looked like salt and lacked that pillowy texture but it was from Dmc tbf. No doubt it was the same sn she used back in August one last time, the only one she had left.

If you managed to find dmc it will be easier to find dsl..similar wordings.

I never did find, I just have the hints that led others to find it at that time. I just went through all search results on that engine and nothing came up. But I recognize you weren't offering assistance and thank you for your reply
