I vividly remember somebody saying we can't even mention the guy like he's the Voldemort of SS. On the other hand I remember reading a discussion about his death pod.
Did I hallucinate that rule or is it true that he is not to be mentioned?

Not a hallucination.

At one time, some users were insisting that referring to him by name was a violation of the rule about

Personal Information: Don't post personal information of neither yourself nor providers.

in the same way that referring to 'A' by their given name is frowned upon. If I recall correctly, @Threads then decreed that the person was to be referred to as PN, but that didn't seem to stick very long.

Discussion about the person was never prohibited as far as I know.
