Method Propranolol?

Question, I'm going through the forum search and I keep seeing Propranolol being discussed but only for the SN protocol. Why does no one mention Propranolol on its own can be fatal? Am I missing something? Is it just an unpleasant experience?

It seems that if you won't be bothered for at least a couple hours, it can be pretty much guaranteed.

I'd like to see more discussion regarding propranolol. I know it has been fatal in a number of cases. I am particularly interested in combining Propranolol (3g or more) with olanzapine (2g) and several zopiclone to put you to sleep. I think cardiac arrest and death would be almost guaranteed using this protocol.

I realise overdoses are unreliable but I have to think of my family. An OD would be far less traumatic for them than alternative methods.

Any serious discussion regarding this method would be appreciated.

I've been using propranolol for over 10 years to treat essential tremor, 40mg per day. It's very easy to get where I live, and I currently have 12g at home. I've also seen several reports of how deadly it is, and I'm seriously considering switching from the SN method to propranolol as well.

That's quite a collection! I wish I could have some. But 12g of Propranolol would almost certainly be successful. Difficult to swallow that number of tablets though.

I only have about 3g of propranolol but I am slowly building it. I have built about 2g of Olanzapine. I think this is a very good method provided you are not found for at least 12 hours.

Honestly, I don't think 3g is enough, at least not for me. Based on the research I've done I wouldn't take less than 10g. However, it really is a huge amount to ingest, and it tastes absolutely awful. It causes intense nausea even at low doses. I'm trying to work on that.

I agree that 3g is not enough. This link shows a case where the subject died with 6g:

It is my aim to build 6g of propranolol. I have no idea how to deal with the taste, that is a major concern. If you can think of anything, please let me know

There was a guide put up here by some Danish doctor, the one in this forum is hella old and outdated. In the most recent edition of the guide (2025), 8mg of propranolol was the recommended. Keep in mind this is about 200 40 mg pills. I am inquiring more about how these numbers are calculated, will keep you all updated.

I have also read the paper about the young physician, am interested.

Apparently it can be crushed and dissolved in water without losing effectiveness. That would definitely make it easier to take instead of swallowing a bunch of pills. At least that's what ChatGPT says — I'll look into it more, but it sounds promising.

The problem is, propranolol gives me pretty bad nausea. For example, If I forget I already took 40mg, and take another 40mg again, I get extremely nauseous. I honestly can't imagine taking 8g or 10g without feeling like I'm gonna throw up everything. I'd probably have to pair it with something for the nausea too or some benzos to sleep.

I didn't realise it could be crushed and dissolved in water. That would certainly make it easier to take 150 plus tablets.

Like you I am also worried about the nausea. That is another reason I am keen to combine it with an AE such as olanzapine. I am planning on using about 2g of Olanzapine which is supposedly fatal in and of itself. But that should reduce the nausea.

I was hoping to CTB this week as I'm under so much pressure and just completely miserable but I just don't have enough propranolol yet. It's taking too long to build it up. I'm wondering if I combine Olanzapine and propranolol that I might not need quite so much prop.
