I know this might seem like a bit weird to some people, but a think holding me back from attempting CTB are my plushies
I don't know what it is, but I don't wanna leave them
Maybe I'm scared whoever finds me might just throw them away, which would make me incredibly sad

Does anyone else also have this?

I get what you mean. I had one of those lapses in judgement where I bought a plushie of one of my favourite characters and on the days I feel really shitty holding it helps me a lot

I know when I pass my parents will either sell or throw away my plushies and figurines and I hate that. I hate that so much.

I have soo many plushies and I'm obsessed with them up to the point where I would always have a plushie with me even when I go out, in class (and exams as I have adjustment allowing me to have a plushie) or work.

I think for me, as no humans are willing to care and help me, at least my plushies give me comfort. Probably related to some sensory input too as I'm a neurodivergent.

I hope my plushies don't just get thrown away or not taken care off once I'm dead… I was actually going to make a legal will and the first thing I thought of was actually who to give my plushies to… They mean a lot to me as they have been with me through my hardest times, even in the hospital…

yeah will also leave a note only mention my plushies, my only and last will.. so I don't think, they will get thrown away.... but it's hard for me to leave them behind ..
i'm not sure, if I want to take 2 of them with me... when I ctb... what about rain ? what if they are waiting to long for someone to take them ?
But I don't want them to stay at home..

I love my plushies so much. I have like 30 of them in a big pile on my bed. They are so soft and cuddly.
I also have a custom life-sized doll of my comfort character which I commissioned... Pathetic but she keeps me here, too. I spend a lot of time with her, we eat together, watch movies together, play video games, and I snuggle with her before bed.

I worry they will miss me, and yes, that someone would throw them away.

Me too! I bring my favorite plushie with me pretty much wherever I go. It would break my heart if anything happened to her. Once I learned my lesson the hard way when I put her in the washing machine and she got a small tear... I cried for so long before I went and got the stuff to sew her back up. Only hand-washing now!!

I'm soon getting a plusho of one of my fav characters too, and he's gonna be my comfort through the exams this year

I wouldn't say my doll or plushies have made me recover, but they both certainly make life just a little bit more bearable. I know how awful being alone can be, and I hope your character can help you also feel a little less lonely :)

My collected stuff makes me happy too. I mostly collect things that smell nice like body spray, but I have a bunch of plushes too. I also had a phase where I was super into the foam squishes shaped like food and stuff.
