Yeah, I guess so. I wrote about this in anorher couple of threads. In short, I was unemployed at the time and this was the only job available. So it wasn't really my decision. I was pushed by my parents to find a job immidiatelly, so I had to. The first couple of months I was a sweating and shaking wreck, but things settled down after a while.
It really did help me not to be scared of large crowds but it didn't do nothing as far as my sense of inadequacy. I still feel like I don't belong, but at least I don't act like a caged animal anymore.
I was in a terrible situation where I lived and had to leave immediately and without any place else to go, fled at midnight to a stranger's house who I had chatted with twice on the internet. I was scared to death but decided even if he ended up raping and killing me, it was better than staying where I was. It turned out it was the best thing I could have done.

There was a guy who wanted to fuck me, so I said, "I don't get fucked, but I really like you, so I'll let you do me after I do you." I proceeded to fuck him, came, told him I was a manipulative liar & left. Challenge overcummed.
I've never been the best at overcoming challenges. I cannot think of a recent example, but back when I was in education, I managed to complete all my exams despite really struggling with it all and it making me ill. I nearly wasn't able to do that. I think back then I had more energy, I wouldn't be able to do anything of the sort now.
