It's how you define it or what's your perspective on life. For me, life feels like an eternity and I wanna get out of here.

The universe is 13.4 billion years old and the earth is 4.5 billion. Modern humans have only been around for 200,000 years and civilization 10,000. Our existence is nothing but a flash in the pan.

Yes this video was not posted to be some kind of pro-life proselytizing—but rather something to help clear one's head to clarify what one wants from life.

If the Earth formed at midnight and the present moment is the next midnight, 24 hours later, modern humans have been around since 11:59:59pm—1 second.

The clock would be 11:58:43, so we would've been around for 1 minute and 16 seconds (ending at 11:59:59). No worries though, as I posted the exact same thing you've posted when I first came here almost verbatim. It's hard to believe that we take up as much as 1 minute and 16 seconds. The Industrial Revolution has only been around since the 1870's and humanity has never been the same since. That'd only be a tiny fraction of a second!

If one looks at the themes of the days of philosophers like Socrates, they were rather sinple issues like piety vs impiety—good vs. bad in human beings. Likewise for the Stoicism of Marcus Aurelius. Then comes along the Industrial Revolution and such new issues such as Materialism becomes a theme. From the 1990's we saw the techno revolution with network connected home computers—and other nano technologies continuing today (eg.: AI, genetic engineering, etc.) there has been a plethora of philosophical issues and themes that continue today.

When people say life is too short they're right. I know when you're in misery each moment feels like an eternity. But I got sick at 20 and my condition has no cure and I'm 34 now and the time just flew by and I feel very old. That is why I say life is too short. I was living and then in the blink of an eye I was existing. There is nothing left for me now. So if you have a good life you really have to fit into it all the things you want to do because take it from me, life is too short.

Length is relative and one can feel it as short or long. For me, I feel time is fast and its very short. I'm aging quickly and time flies and nothing improves or done. I can't live properly or die and while the whole thing looks long (if we look at the far ugly death of aging), the single day is like a blink of eye.

I wish I could freeze or rewind time so I can enjoy some stuff more before I die or ctb

An interesting diagram. Compare that to the 13 odd billion yo universe and the trillions upon trillions upon trillions of years the universe has to go. You can't it's just not plausible. Unyet in the last century alone we have fundamentally destroyed our environment.
Buy yeah life may be short Unyet it's the longest thing any of us will do. Maybe.

Yea it's like short but also feels too long. I feel like it's been too long for me already because it was such a massive disappointment the entire way through. I feel I was set up for failure from the start.

Depends on the perspective of the user tho. A person might have a different perspective on longevity with a dog. Something along the lines of that
