UPDATE: After submitting my request for a meto prescription from an online pharmacy, I was approved in less than 30 minutes. Thanks everyone for helping me.

UPDATE: I've paid and submitted my request for meto from an online pharmacy. I should hear back on whether or not I've been approved in 24 hours, so I will update this post then.

Ever obtained meto from an online pharmacy before? Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this story will let me obtain it before I spend all the money to have a doctor evaluate it? Please give me any and all of your feedback. How can I improve it or add more information if it's needed? Thank you.

[REDACTED - since I've been approved]

I don't want the story mass copied and pasted so that pharmacies become suspicious so I removed the exact text I used. Basically, I just complained of a new flare up of symptoms that meto is used to treat and I emphasized that meto is the only nausea drug I tried that was effective on almost all of my symptoms.

If myself, I'd only work Reglan into my previous history once, rather than underlining it with two mentions. It's not a big deal, however it could seem a wee bit focussed on that med if they have any concerns in relation to that specific med. You're presenting a reasonable past history, together with the comment that your previous experience addressing this condition indicates that you already know that you respond well to the named meds.

That's a really good idea! The reason I mentioned it twice is because each paragraph is actually a response to a separate question asked on the form. The last question just says something like, "Anything else you want the doctor to know? (the answer to this question is not prioritized and may be skipped)" or something weird like that so I mentioned my preference for Reglan again in a previous question in the hopes they wouldn't accidentally skip over the last one. Still suggest I change it? Also, I'm thinking of modifying the last sentence into this, "[REDACTED - since I've been approved]" Thanks for all your help!

I have coincidentally obtained meto from a pharmacy over a phone conversation. You can find the detailed post over the new section (don't want to post it on here).

Also, I'm thinking of modifying the last sentence into this, "Reglan was the only one I tried that helped me the most in the past (it cleared up almost all my symptoms instead of just 1 or 2 of them), so I hope I can restart it again at least until my symptoms subside again like last time." Thanks for all your help!

With your revised version, I'd leave it there, myself. The new wording seems (to me) to imply that you've had experience with other prescribed meds, so you have a case history causing your mention of this specific one.
I'd also do a quick scan (you probably have) of some of the other treatments often prescribed.
Good luck.

@SVEN @maniac116 @rozeske Thank you all for your help! I took your advice and now feel confident in submitting my prescription request. I just paid and submitted the request, so I should hear back in 24 hours on whether or not I've been approved. I will update my post on the results once I hear back from them.
@SVEN @rozeske @maniac116 Less than 30 minutes later, and I already got the confirmation that I've been approved!! ☺️ THAT WAS FAST! You guys rock!

Well done, I'm really glad this worked!

When you put in your request, was it only answering questions by writing? They didn't want to schedule a conversation or anything more through?

I'm about to go on the meto hunt myself, and with my disability have trouble with phone calls, so it would be an unpleasant surprise for me if they try to schedule anything further.

(I'm also curious which online pharmacy you used, but totally understand if you want to keep that private)
