Now that Christmas has passed, I don't have to worry about ruining the holidays anymore

Just need to summon the courage to do it now. Since my partial hanging attempts didn't work, it's time to do full suspension hanging. I wonder if I can just tie one rope's end to the door knob, pass the rope over the door ,make a Slipknot take a chair to slip my head through the elevated noose ,kick the chair and just pass out in 10-20ish seconds

Or am I supposed to test my full suspension set up first

Make sure your thrashing unconscious body can't open the door. I tested a little on an unlocked door with handles, not knobs, and it was obvious I would open it and release the rope. I have some sturdier anchor points I can use, though.

I mean even if it open the door, you'd still be hanging wouldn't you?

Yeah maybe if you tied it to the other doorknob with no slack and didn't rely on the door to pinch it. Seems like it would slip off the edge though, that's like 2" from the knob. Also you'd have to be pretty small to do FSH this way unless it's a huge door

I'd slip off the edge? Wouldn't my weight prevent it from moving too much? I'll have to do a test run with my arm inside the noose I guess

You're talking about hanging from an open door right next to edge (by the knob). Death spasms could easily move the rope that far

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that cause I thought the spasms would need to move the rope by 15ish inches which I wasnt likely in my head but you never know

I feel a very similar way. I paid rent, handed out christmas gifts, celebrated, and now I can do what I need to.
