Depends on the dosage of N. A lot of people die within an hour. I think if you can go three hours without being disturbed, you'd likely be gone. There have been documented cases on here of people taking N at home and the ambulance being called immediately only to die later after being in a coma for a few weeks. I agree with the other posts that if you're in a crowded place (ie amusement park or concert) you'd likely be saved. I think if you did it in a chill park and looked like you were napping, I would say chance of success outweighs the chance of failure. But depends on the setting, and how you set yourself up. Homeless people OD everyday on crowded streets. Not a great method though if you're actually looking to CTB.
Thank you so much for your analysis!

Yeah, I was thinking you could probably get away with more if you set things up to look like you're just taking a nap or resting in public maybe with sunglasses, a newspaper to cover your face, and earbuds in as if you were listening to music. Maybe have some kind of signage attached to my body that says "I have narcolepsy. Please don't disturb me because I'm okay." 1-3 hours

I love how N is peaceful, but why does it always take so long for it to finish the job? Perhaps, humans dose themselves with much less than animals get? I heard that animals who are put down with N are dead at least within a few minutes.

But, perhaps they could still be revived, they're smaller animals than us, and perhaps they also receive a really high concentration of N through injection rather than orally. It wouldn't be legal, but I wonder if an injection of N like a vet would give, could kill a person beyond the point of being revived within at least a minute or two.
