jumping is free, easy, and a fast death if you jump from high enough.

but my worries are:
1# in todays world, everyone would take pics of the corpse.
2# i would be afraid to accidentally hit someone that i didn't see
3# it's a very public thing and would probably make the news, which i don't want
4# it would scare and tramuatize so many people

it's really hard finding the best method... i'm still very set on carbon monoxide inside a car, but i don't have a car.
not even a license.

and i don't want to use a method where i get reported missing... like jumping in the ocean

Jumping is one of my options too. I live near the coast, so there are plenty of high cliffs I could use. For me the issue would be the SI. I am by no means a brave man, and even getting to the edge of the cliff would be a challenge I think. And like you said, if I jump from that cliff, it's very likely my body would never be found.

yeah i wouldn't wanna not be found by someone,
because that's when your face goes all over the news, and reported missing

the first reason is so real. people first thought are to take a pic and share. it's so disrespectful and I hate it because they didn't respect the victim and the victim families.

well, one way i could avoid the problem with people nearby,
would be to climb a data tower or whatever they're called.

a cell tower or whatever.

but i bet it's well fenced off.
i see one all the time from afar, but i was never very close enough to it, to inspect it

I think it would be unethical of me to provide solutions to your concerns.

For me the big fear with jumping is twofold:

1) it's difficult to be sure of a quick death. Very few places are both high enough and easy to jump off. There is a good chance of hitting the ground, being very badly hurt, and taking a long time to die.

2) "the view from halfway down" - what if the experience of falling induced severe survival instinct or regret?

It would but it would be too late and he accomplishes the mission

How to ctb by jumping off a transmitter tower in your region:

I have some experience myself, as I had 2 attempts not long ago.

I am by no means an expert on this topic, I'm just a guy on the internet trying to throw light on this, and wanting you to not make the same mistakes as I did. Please inform yourself from more than one resource! (The illustration I made is horrible but it'll work if you just follow the steps)

Before you go to the tower of choice:
  • Make sure to bring your equipment
  • Take the other things you want to take with you
  • Do everything you want to do before you die, such as writing a suicide note
  • Inform yourself (by reading this article for example ^_^)
  • Take enough to drink / eat with you, to make sure you have enough energy to climb the ladder
  • Make sure you are fit enough to make at least one pull-up, you'll need it

Something about transmitter towers:
  • Transmitter Towers are these big poles you sometimes see in your local landscape
  • They are used to send signals like radio waves or wireless internet signal, so I don't know if it brings health risks to climb on one of these towers (it doesn't really matter if you gonna die anyways)
  • They are usually about 30 meters high, so not too much. Pay attention to falling head first, otherwise it'll not be lethal. (But that should be common sense, if you read through other articles about jumping. If not, please inform yourself and don't use this as your only resource.)
  • The actual ladder of these towers starts usually at around 3 to 3.5 meters above ground, so make sure to bring a climbing assistance.
  • Climbing the ladder takes a long time. In this time, a lot of thoughts will arise and SI will kick in. I myself haven't accomplished the jump because of SI, and I already was very proud of myself to having climbed to the top of the tower. So bear in mind, that this method is emotionally very difficult to perform.

Equipment:
  • As I said food and drink, suicide note, and other things you take with you, maybe a plushie that reminds you of your childhood
  • Something that can function as climbing assistance (more detail in a moment)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing like a raincoat or a hat. And please take gloves with you, if you know that it'll be cold. You don't want to experience completely frozen through hands (and especially fingers) when climbing that ladder and having fear of falling down when still being only 10 meters above ground.

How to get to your tower of choice:
  • First, consider, how far the tower is from your home and think about how to get there
  • Get there in night, if you are afraid of being discovered by other people around the area
  • Think about the weather and take appropriate clothes with you as said above

Climbing assistance:
  • Think about how much weight the thing you're gonna use has to carry
  • Look at the spot if there is maybe a sturdy wooden stick you could use or, better, a wooden plank
  • Also, look at home if you maybe have a folding ladder or climbing equipment, you can use to get to the first rung of the tower.
  • Look for a spot to keep the climbing assistance, if you need several tries, so you find it the next time

The climbing assistance I used:

I used a wood plank that I got from a garden near the tower. It has the length to reach a little above my waist if I position it on the ground. To make sure it doesn't slip away, as I climb on it, I used a small rock that I positioned on the ground (see the little illustration I added)

How to realise your plans:
  1. Make sure, that absolutely nobody is watching you
  2. Check your equipment, do a good-bye call-or message if you want to, and get the other things done you want
  3. Place your climbing assistance beneath the ladder and make sure it doesn't slip away as you climb on it
  4. Climb onto the climbing assistance
  5. Maybe jump to reach the first rung
  6. Grab the first rung of the ladder
  7. Do a pull-up and wrap your legs around the tower, maybe hook them into something, to help push yourself up
  8. Grab the next rungs and pay attention that your feet are safely on the lowest rung
  9. Climb the ladder to the top
  10. Jump
