Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Single dose of escitalopram caused me total lack of erection. I took it for 2 days when I realised it might be due to it. I immediately stopped but my erection hasn't came back for 3 months.
Then I read about PSSD and that SSRI are changing brain after single dose. I have been on 3 others SSRI for multiple years which probably contributed to this problem.
Now I feel my life is over. I have multiple other problems that cause me depression but this one is the last straw.

I'm so sorry, this same thing happened to my brother after taking citalopram

I really wish doctors would warn of these side effects and ask permission if you are agreeing knowing what it may cause- seems this drug does this a lot to people

I'm female so I can't relate however I will say that haldol did similar to me for a whole year

Did he recovered?

Yes he did - it took a few months and he had to stop the citalopram completely. He made a few lifestyle changes and I guess that helps.

Once we stop these meds I really think it takes a while for the body to reset .. I'm not a doctor but the first thing I'd do is a detox. I did a long detox toget the haldol and its side effects out of my body as fast as possible. Green tea, vitamins, lots of water and fish oils and foods high in vitamin d like walnuts and fish and things like that to help my brain

Meds can be brutal, I really hope it returns soon for you, hopefully the other member can help it seems he knows some on this :)

Try daily Cialis therapy for an extended period. I know it's not a cure, but having your boner come back on a daily basis feel reassuring
