Hi all! Whenever I try to hover my mouse over the like button under a post to try and use a reaction, nothing shows up! I can only press the "like" button, and that's it - no hug reaction, no heart reaction, no nothing. Additionally, when I try to hover my mouse over thread links in the forum, sometimes I get a full thread preview and sometimes I don't. Weird!

I've already tried (i) logging out and logging back in again, (ii) clearing my browsing data/cahce history, (iii) switching browsers, and (iv) turning my computer on and off again. Nothing's worked! Could a mod or someone with tech savvy help me out and troubleshoot here? Not having forum reactions really, really sucks :(

Hi, I do tech support for a blogging website.

One suggestion you haven't mentioned: Try disabling all browser extensions and relaunching. They can mess with things like that.

You tried the following.

(i) logging out and logging back in again,
(ii) clearing my browsing data/cahce history,
(iii) switching browsers, and
(iv) turning my computer on and off again.

End result being this

"Nothing's worked!"

Anyway those are all JV shit lol

If see if Jave script is not blocked and also see if some "privacy" LMFAO extensions interfere with the website lol like adblockplus or ublock origin or the outdated one called honey badger or something badger

Anyway LONG STORY SHORT
Seems like Javascript issue OR outdated browser

EDIT:
ONCE YOU DO THAT DO THIS.
CTRL + SHIFT + R as this will hard refresh the website and force all the cached elements in your browser to be loaded again with newest version available on hosting server.

Anyway let us know if fixed and works now.

If not you can always just drop a message to a mod/staff

How do I see if Javascript isn't blocked? I'm not very good at this :(

I use fireforx so for me its in the settings- privacy and security - and see what that sais

or in my case cause i customize it with java blocking and telementary but if you dont know then im sure you havent used about:config.

hmm heres an easy way.

use another browser that you arent useing and do a fresh install and see if still same issues.

if it is then its your issue and might as well just reset the settings to default if you can or a clean install of your fave browser.
ohhhh forgot to ask sorry i am a but high.

Is the issue on mobile/tablet or desktop/laptop
what browser do you use

I mean now we know its not a site issue.

you can always just back up your bookmakrs on your fave browser and uninstall and then re install it :D then import your bookmarks <3

that way you dont need two browsers and just be on the one you love.

only takes liek 5 mins or less <3
