My company just laid off a lot of people

I am waiting to hear next week if I am going to be laid off or not. If I am, I will be homeless. I really hope that I won't.

I hate the fear and tension at the office. Everyone is scared of what may happen. A billion dollar company lays people off just becase the number doesn't look as good this quarter.

I am so sick of having my fate in the hands of nacassistic ceos.

It really is disgusting what "leaders" will do to their employees in the name of profit. I hope you get to keep your job and not worry about it but it honestly might be a good idea to just start looking for a new one just in case.
