my city doesn't have real psych wards. we have a holding cell that they'll keep you at for max 24h and it's always full so you'll usually get sent home even if you said you're gonna kill yourself. they had a good one that I went to as a teenager but that floor is now closed and i don't think i could go to any of the other floors. but along with that comes another problem. i have a dog and 2 cats and nowhere for them to go if I absolutely had to go to the hospital. i don't know what i'd do. i worry about what would happen with them because I don't really have many friends and also my apartment has bedbugs. i might be becoming homeless again too. god i just feel like my life is over.

i hate them. it's made getting comfortable here impossible.
i've done that and it technically wasn't as bad but because i live in Canada they'll usually send you back to your original city. and i still don't know what I'd do with my animals.My city has one, I went there twice in the last 9 month trying to get myself admitted but they just basically ignored my suicidality, told my to pump myself full with benzos and send me home again.
I wonder if they would still just send me home if I failed an attempt
