• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'll start with a classical pianist.
Terence Judd, being considered by many as one of the greatest piano talents ever, was born in 1957 and killed himself in 1979 at age 22.
Here are 2 movements of Samuel Barber's piano sonata. At 2.10 min. starts the famous Fugue in a version that has never been matched by anybody else ever since.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Curtis
Ian Curtis(singer) began suffering epileptic fits in late 1978 he was officially diagnosed with the condition on 23 January the following year, with his particular case being described by doctors as so severe, his life would be ruled to obsolescence by his severe epilepsy without the various strong dosages of medications he was prescribed.

Ian Curtis(singer), who suffered from epilepsy and depression, took his own life on 18 May 1980
Ian Curtis killed himself by hanging himself in the kitchen of his house
He had used the kitchen's washing line to hang himself.

Layne Staley and Mike Starr had to deal with depression, loss of loved ones and drug addictions but their death is considered to be purely accidental

It looks like you beat me to it. I remember this very well as a few years ago, I followed the story of his death and it is very disheartening to lose the ability to do what you prepared for your entire life. I can relate to his reasoning of wanting to CTB (on top of all his existing problems). He CTB'd via a firearm (.22LR revolver if I remember correctly).

Yes. He couldn't play as he used to and playing was what he most loved. RIP
