Feels so cliché (being depressed) but I love heavy metal, and I'm super into Lifelines by I Prevail at the minute

Just started getting into I Prevail! I love Hurricane and Gasoline on the new album. I like listening to rock music, Linkin Park and Muse are my favorite bands. But I'll also listen to rap and pop.

Trauma is a great album! Even the ones I didn't like at first have grown on me

I don't really have a favorite. I absolutely love music of most any genre; although, it hurts to listen to some music these days because of the head injuries. My love of music probably came from being forced to study classical piano for 9 very long years and then I taught myself to play guitar and the ukulele. Music was my escape - and still is when I am really down.

Just like @Weary Soul put it:
I like most genres and can't really completely rule out anything.
Often times I might find an artist of a genre I used to be unsure about that I then really enjoy.
I also go through all kinds of phases and that is always reflect by the music I listen to. It would be very limiting (for me at least) to stick to exactly one thing.
Though there are things I rarely hear: Metal that isn't melodic in any way, Jazz, German folk music, R&B, Radio Pop Music.
