There is some research out there that it has very quick effects. It does also have its side effects, but doesn't everything! If you are desperate it could be worth looking into... Here is one article on it: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23334071/

I don't know the contraindications - so please do your own investigation, but there are good reports on the net, including for Bipolar depression.
