Help Monitored?

I read in someone's post a few days ago that they planned their CTB and the fuzz showed up at their place waiting for them (I think hotel).
How could this happen? Unless they gave very personal info? Or are they monitoring certain people here hard?

Do you have a link to the post? I imagine they must have over shared info, it isn't easy to identify someone specifically.

That said when I CTB I will only notify people I speak to privately. Can't be too careful, with all the eyes on the forum.

Could be made up. Could be a scare tactic also.
