I just don't want to participate in it anymore; it's all so fake and I can't stand it.
I don't want to finish uni, I don't want to get a job, I don't want to pay for a small plot of land where the soil had all the nutrients sucked out of it, I don't want to pay for the food or water that could be growing in a local garden instead of some corporate farmhouse where the cows are miserable and are forcibly bred until they die, I don't want to pay for a subscription to see the doctor, I don't want to watch the corporate machine made AI slop that will eventually overtake my job, I don't even want to be online. (yet I'm still here, har har) I'm just so done with all of this. Nothing here is fun nor funny, and I feel like humans are just here to cause misery for all the other poor sacks of shit on this earth.
I feel like i'm just pissing away time until I eventually die. Not to say that life is a complete waste of time in my eyes, (I've had my fun), but dear god, is most of modern day life just useless.

Yes I relate to your sentiment. Oh and to add on, I don't even want to buy anything in the first place. I don't feel happy purchasing useless junk like so many other people do to fill the void in their heart. So what is even the point of working? Make money so that the people at the top can buy even more junk to fill the massive void in their heart?

Lol also to clarify, I don't think that capitalism is inherently a bad way of operating, as it has brought much prosperity to the majority people's lives after the fall of feudalism (which I dislike even more).
I think I'm just sad that I live in the material world at all now that I think abt it. I just want to lose everything, my body, and return to the void. That is true peace in my eyes at this moment.

Life has always been a scam, getting dragged out of nonexistence and forced into existence is a travesty in it of itself. Eat, shit, fuck, sleep, reproduce, repeat and for what, just to return to nonexistence one day.

I relate to this a lot, so much so I could have wrote exactly what you shared. It's so frustrating that humans chose to build society in such an awful way. Like earth is so fucking beautiful and cool, and we're just fucking it all up. Instead of having actual communities and living in a way that is kind to people, the planet, and other animals, we live in a capitalist society that by large doesn't value human life, kindness, the planet, or animals. Once you truly see the fucked up way humans operate, you cannot unsee it and it's hard to just keep living.

I went to McDonald's for the first time in about 4 years the other day on a whim and had a huge "I don't want to participate in this BS" moment in the drive thru. Ironically getting fast food was supposed to be 'good' and part of my live life to the fullest until I CTB plan, but it made me feel significantly worse. I was just so off put by the other people (and myself) ordering, in their cars, so far removed from their food choices and who/what had to be exploited and harmed for their burger, fries, soda, hell even the packaging it all comes in. Not to mention the overworked and underpaid people working at McDonald's to just try and get by in this modern hellscape. I had to heavily disassociate to eat my meal, and I don't foresee myself eating out like that again.

I'm just simply not cut out to live in a world like this, and I'm so tired of people trying to tell me it's not normal to feel this way. It's comforting to see that I'm not alone in this feeling and the understanding that shit is fucked up.

We all sell our lives to pay for the luxury and prosperity of a handful of privileged people who declare themselves elite and untouchable, people whose faces we've never even seen, and probably never will. They deceive us with hope and paradise. They've destroyed all our social skills and locked us up in prisons to create us into worthless consumers.

When I was a child, life was something lived on the streets, and home was a place we didn't want to go. Now homes have become living spaces where we hoard the shit we bought for self-esteem. Social media is just another form of hoarding. We don't live life anymore, we document it. It's madness. The world is now one giant ego stage.
