For anyone looking to access metoclopramide via prescription, I've found another condition that it's prescribed for. It was by accident, because I actually have this condition, and I was looking it up. I have some meto already, but I may get an Rx for this other reason (to actually use).

The condition is called gastroparesis. It's delayed stomach emptying. When you eat, your food stays in your stomach for a very long time. You don't digest quickly enough. It's really uncomfortable, because you're always too full. Metoclopramide is the only FDA approved drug in the U.S. that's approved for faster stomach emptying. So if you (U.S. people, and maybe others) describe this to your doctor, it should be the only drug they prescribe for it.

Note- it's not meant to be used long-term, because of side effects. I think the main one is tardive dyskinesia, which I've had from an anti-psychotic med, and which is very weird.
